11 reasons you need to visit GoodWoof

The two-day dog event will be full of wonderful and extraordinary surprises!

We are a big fan of dog events here at Wyld Cub and trade at all the major events throughout the year including, Crufts, Dog Fest and All About Dog Show. They all have their own unique reasons for attending, but we must say GoodWoof is unlike any other.

The fanciest of all dog shows in the UK, expect picnic vibes, straw hats, flowing dresses, champagne tents and music throughout the day hosted by Ministry of sound.

Here are 10 things to do at Goodwoof 2024. There's no need to pre-book and all activities are available free of charge.

1. Woodland Walk
The winding, shady and easy-to-navigate trail is set to be a popular spot in which to find a touch of serenity amidst the bustle of Goodwoof. Dotted along the way will be the chance to watch the ancient art of truffle hunting, commune with their expert pet psychic, pick up a tattoo transfer and even come across an old friend, Snoopy and his band of Woodstock-shaped Beaver Scouts with activities designed for the whole family.

2. Goodwoof Games
We’re counting down the days to the Paris Olympics this summer and so, in honour of the much-anticipated event, Goodwoof are staging their very own canine Olympiad. Is your dog good enough to get onto the highest podium? We can’t wait to find out.

3. Have-a-go area
This is the spot where you, and your dog, can learn new tricks as our experts demonstrate how to catch, fetch and leap with style.

4. Field & Trail
Where else can you see all of the world’s top competitors in gun and sheepdog trials gathered together in one glorious place? Goodwoof’s Field and Trail area is set amongst the estate’s parkland, giving you a spectacular view of the breathtaking work carried out by highly trained dogs, and their amazing handlers, as they battle it out for Goodwoof’s weekend prizes.

5. Literary Corner
The perfect place to settle down and listen to well-known authors, stars and illustrators, like Clare Balding, Tracey Corderoy and Hugh Bonneville, open up a whole world of canine endeavours to feed your imagination and spark your curiosity. Our cosy bookish nook is the perfect place to reset and restore.

6. The Studio presented by Randox Health

Here owners and their dogs can really relax as they enjoy free sessions in dog yoga (DOGA), sound bathing, reiki and the absolute bliss of dog massage. Sessions, which are included in the price of your admission ticket, take place on both Saturday and Sunday and will need to be booked on the day.

7. Ministry of Hound
It’s your chance to throw some shapes with your best four-legged friend as renowned DJs from the Ministry of Sound play all the dancefloor fillers. Join DJs Fat Tony and Rio Fredrika behind the decks as brothers Curtis and AJ Pritchard take you through your steps.

8. The Wellness Centre presented by MARS Petcare
The Wellness Centre, hosted by veterinary expert Dr Scott Miller, is the place for novice and seasoned dog owners alike to learn new tricks. 9. Barkitecture
Once again, Goodwoof will display an incredible line up of architecturally designed kennels, meticulously built to house hounds on the go, from architects all across the world. We’re sure you’ll have your favourites, and your dog will enjoy trying them for size.
